  • Scorekeepers unite! All students part of the scorekeepers club or interested in scorekeeping, please meet in room 129 at lunch for a brief meeting.
  • Film & TV meets today after school in Room 138
  • Congratulations to all Jazz Band and R & B students for your amazing work last night– it was a fabulous evening of music!
  • A reminder if you want to see if you can change a course for Semester 2, write clearly what you want on the timetable given to you in Advisory and hand in to one of the boxes that corresponds with your Grade in Student Services.

Thursday, January 18th

    • Model United Nations in Room 212B today at lunch. Important meeting and prep for upcoming Model UN Conference. See you there!

    • Our school will be welcoming over 30 new students from countries around the world for second semester. If you are interested in meeting them and helping with orientation, come to a meeting today at lunch in rm 218

    • Clay club is cancelled today. Sorry folks! See you next week.
    • Schedules for 2nd semester will be distributed tomorrow in advisory. There have been lots of room changes and teacher updates so please make sure you attend advisory tomorrow and get your new schedule.
    • Students – Semester 1 is ending on January 25th. Do you know where your textbooks are? The library is gratefully accepting your textbooks and classroom novels if you no longer require them.

    • Reynolds Winter Jazz Night is tonight at 7:00pm in the Gym. Come out and support your jazz bands and R&B Band!

Wednesday, January 17th

Tuesday, January 16th

  • Thank you to all the students who helped out with the Program of Choice night last night!  We welcomed over 300 families who were interested in the Flex Program and Soccer.  Without your help the night would not have been a success!  Thanks again. 🙂

Monday, January 15th

  • Girls Rugby, first practice is tomorrow, after school.

  • Bring cleats or running shoes and dress for the weather.
  • Congratulations to the Senior Boys Basketball team, winners of the 63rd Annual Totem tournament in Port Alberni.
  • If you are in Grade 11 or Grade 12 (and still haven’t figured out what’s next).  UVic/ Camosun & Lattitude will be here tomorrow, Tuesday January 16th – 7-9pm in the theatre.
  • Staff & students, the library will be closed tomorrow for immunizations. This includes the computer area as well. An announcement will be made when it re-opens for school use.
  • There is a Leadership meeting today at lunch in room 32- today we have a guest speaker from UVIC!

  • Strength and Conditioning class is taking place today after school
  • Film & TV is meeting in room 138 after school
  • Crew is meeting after school in the theatre
  • The Senior Girls Basketball Team battled through multiple injuries to win their 3rd game in a row. They are now tied for 1st place in their division.  A win next Tuesday gets them a spot in the playoffs.   Great job girls!

Thursday, January 11th, 2018

  • Pit Orchestra – You have a rehearsal today at 3:30pm 
  • Girls rugby – first practice next tuesday after school, rain or shine. Meet outside mat room, bring cleats or runners if you have them.
  • The Junior Girls kept their perfect season going with a 6th straight win on Wednesday night.  Monday January 15th the Junior Girls have a game against Parkland at 4:15. If they win this one, they clinch a playoff spot, and sole possession of first place in the league. So come out and cheer on your Jr. Girls Basketball team next Monday!
  • Clay club is after school today. Come on up to the art room to join Ms. Segal and get creating! Everyone welcome. 
  • The final play day for Intramural basketball is today at lunch!  First up we will establish the student champions and then they will have the honour of playing the Reynolds Staff in the staff vs students game. The first semi final between Big Baller Brand and Singles starts at 11:25 sharp.
  • Spoken word workshop today at lunch in Rm. 32. All welcome! – 

Wednesday, January 10th, 2018

  • -A reminder that e-cigarettes and “vapes” are not to be used on school property as they are under the same School Board regulations as tobacco products-
  • The Intramural Basketball quarter final playoff games will be played today at lunch.  Who will make the final play day as a member of the final four?  Come to the gym to catch all the ballin’ action.

  • The intramural Basketball playoffs start this week.  Who will win the glory?  Who will win the bragging rights?  Who will win the champion t-shirts?  Find out this week.  The play-off schedule is posted on the gym doors.

  • Shout out to Mrs. Campbell, who won MVP in her league’s all star soccer game yesterday! Congratulations!
