June 1st Reopening – Schedule and Protocols

Thank you for your understanding as we work through these unusual times together.  We are looking forward to welcoming many of our students to school and have been working diligently to ensure that we are prepared to meet both health and safety and educational needs.

For the month of June, there are some important changes to note for all families. While remote learning continues, the ability of teachers to connect with students at home will change somewhat as some students will be also attending in-person. Afternoons Monday -Thursday and all day Friday will be the best day to connect with teachers in regard to remote learning, teachers will also connect at other times as possible.  Remote learning will continue to be the foundation for directing our learning this month, while in-school remote learning support will be available for those who elect to participate (up to one day per week).

For those students who choose to participate in in-school support, we have a variety of health and safety protocols in place to meet the requirement for physical distancing, hand hygiene, as well as, student and staff wellness. Some important changes to note are on the attached safety protocol document.  (June 1st Reynolds Covid-19 Safety Protocols.pdf)

For those students who have signed up for in-school remote learning support, please follow the schedule outlined below. Students should attend the sessions that they identified through the survey sent last week. If students initially indicated that they would not like to come in for in-school support, but would now like to come in. Please contact the office and we will add the student to the list of students who would like to come in. As a reminder if students do not attend these sessions, they will not miss new instruction. These scheduled in-class sessions are intended to support students who would like help with remote learning.
