Hello Reynolds Families!

If you know any of these things about your student’s attendance, please notify, in advance, the attendance line by email or phone (above):

• your student will be arriving late in the morning or leaving earlier than dismissal time at the end of the day.
• your student will be arriving or leaving part way through a block or will be absent for one or more blocks
• your student will be absent for the full day (or number of days):

While we are an open campus and students are older, we do still require an adult (parent/guardian) to excuse the absence.  Students can inform us of their comings/goings, but any absence not excused/confirmed by an adult will remain an unexcused absence.

If your notification is received by the office before 3pm it will be recorded for the day.  If your notification comes later than that, the attendance system will send an email indicating your student missed part of the day, and which part. If you are aware and wish to excuse this absence, you can simply reply to the email indicating so.

Please include the attendance team by phone or email when you are notifying teachers of absences.  Often, the information does not make it from classrooms to the office in a timely fashion.
