UVIC Recognition Ceremony Details and ticket information:
Recognition Ceremony at the UVic Auditorium:
• Friday, June 21ˢᵗ 2024
o Grads arrive by 5:15pm
o Grad Class Photo (outdoors) at 5:30pm SHARP
o Event begins at 6pm
• All participants must attend rehearsal 9am-12pm June 21ˢᵗ at UVic
Ticket Sales
• Grads do not need a ticket for themselves.
• All tickets are emailed to the email address given in the Google Form prior to spring
break
• If you did not register an email address and have a gown ordered, you won’t be able to purchase
tickets
• Tickets can be printed or presented on a mobile device with the barcode easily scanned
• Babies, even if being held, must have a ticket to enter the venue
• Tickets will be emailed closer to the ceremony date
ROUND ONE ticket sales
o April 15ᵗʰ – May 3ʳᵈ, 2024
o Tickets available through School Cash Online or with Accounts Clerk in cash
o $12 each
o Each grad may purchase up to 3 tickets
o Students must have completed the form to register their email address prior to purchasing tickets
(form submitted before spring break)
o If you require special seating (wheelchair, walker, etc) please email Ms. Kirzinger at
emkirzinger@sd61.bc.ca prior to May 3ʳᵈ 2024
o Seats will be assigned based on the order sold; all seats at UVic have a good view of the stage
ROUND TWO ticket sales
o After each grad has the opportunity to purchase up to 3 tickets in round one, the rest of the
tickets will be sold
o Round Two Ticket sales will begin May 27ᵗʰ 2024 until we sell out
o $12 each
o Round Two tickets are on a first come, first sold basis
o Round Two tickets are sold only through the UVIC box office in person or over the phone (no
online sales)
o Tickets purchased during round 2 will not be seated next to tickets purchased in round one
