Winter Formal!!

Reynolds Grad Winter Formal is almost here!

Please read below for important time-sensitive information about this grad event on the evening of December 4th.

Food and Music Preferences:

Purchasing Tickets:

Tickets are on sale starting this Monday, November 17th through School Cash Online for $68. Ticket sales are open until November 28th.

Guest forms:

Forms are available in the office until November 20th. Guests cannot purchase a ticket until they have been approved by administration.

Table Selections:

The first wave of table selections will happen on Tuesday, November 18th at lunch in the foyer (if students want to ensure they get their preferred table selections, they should purchase their ticket on Monday!)

!! Tables require a “Table Captain” so students should start thinking about who that is if they’re wanting to arrange for a table of 6 people.

Huge thanks to Grad Council and teacher organizers for all their work making decisions about Winter Formal. It’s going to be an amazing night for our grads!

Grad Photos Retakes!!

Retakes for Grad Cap and Gown and Full Length Fashion photos are coming up!

If you missed the opportunity to have graduation photos taken during the first sittings or wish to have retakes done, please visit the link below to book an appointment.

This is an important reminder! Your graduation photo must be taken by Mountain West Studios in order for your image to be included in your school yearbook and on the commemorative composite of the graduating class.

Additional Grad Photo information:

Your appointment will take place at Connection Church, located at #101 3946 Quadra Street, Victoria. Your appointment will be approximately 30 minutes, however please be prepared to be on site for 45 minutes to allow for any outfit changes and prop usage.

We request that you arrive 10 minutes early to ensure you have enough time for any last-minute touch ups. Our guest host will check you in, provide instructions for what to expect at the stations, and details on how and when you can view your gallery.

The Cap and Gown station offers traditional posing and will include props; scrolls, diploma folders, and roses. For this station do not wear anything that will detract from your face or neckline. A V-neck or scoop neck top works perfectly. For a suit and tie, wear a white or light-coloured dress shirt and a tie that works with the colours of your school’s sash and gown. Grad gowns, sashes, and caps are provided. Shirts and ties are available if you require one.

At the Fashion “Expressions” station, you can enjoy exciting outfit changes and explore a diverse range of backgrounds. Don’t forget to bring along your personal props—sporting gear, musical instruments, or any special items that showcase your unique personality! Please note that pets are not permitted.

The Full Length station features a white, high-key backdrop, and is designed to highlight your contemporary poses from head to toe. The bright and minimalist setting provides a clean, full-length view that showcases your outfit while ensuring colours and details pop!

Finally, the video station gives you the opportunity to say thank you to someone special, share your favourite memory from your high school years, or send a message to your future self. This is a fun valuable video keepsake that you, your family, and friends can look back on for years to come. Your video will be featured in the complimentary year-end memory book and viewable to all grads.

Out of respect for all grads, we limit this sitting to individuals only in order to stay on schedule. Buddy sessions will be held at the end of the week to be more efficient in offering an opportunity for friends and family to be photographed together. These Buddy sessions are offered at a reduced price point and include a complimentary 5×7 for each group member.
